Shereen is a Wales-based Singaporean who works in British government tackling a wide range of community work involving community tensions, extremism and the Syrian refugee resettlement program.

Outside of work, she continues to be a champion for the community with work done to support victims of domestic abuse, honor-based violence, and forced marriages.

Shereen was made an honorary member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2017, an honour given for her service to the community and contributions in interfaith work.
